History

In April 2011 ITNGreaterBoston hired Jean Patel Bushnell as Executive Director. Jean has spent over 20 years in the senior space in marketing and operations, including as part of the senior team of start-ups for senior services. Today the Board is 11-members strong with a range of skills and experiences to help the start-up accelerate service growth. In September 2011 the organization opened its first support and service site in Framingham and its second in Boston in May 2012 as part of the Presentation School Foundation Community Center, heavily supported by St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, a teaching hospital of Tufts University School of Medicine.

Today ITNGreaterBoston strives through strong relationships with Aging Service Access Points or ASAPs (Ethos, BayPath) single entry points for long term care service across the state, AARP Massachusetts, Assisted Living Communities (Whitney Place and Goddard House of Brookline), Community organizations (Jewish Family Service of Metrowest, Jewish Family and Children's Service), Area Agencies on Aging (Framingham, Natick, Needham, Ashland, Newton, Brookline, Boston) and leaders in services and supports for the visually impaired and other healthcare leaders (Southboro Medical Group, one of the largest multi-specialty group practices in the MetroWest region).
